Parking App is designed to be the most efficient and intuitive way to avoid the costly tickets and towing that can result from expired meters, street sweeping and other difficult to remember parking restrictions.

From the home screen of Parking App you can
- Set a parking meter timer with a single swipe
- Add new parking zones (areas with street sweeping or other restrictions)
- Check at a glance where street sweeping is currently or will soon occur
- Mark where you've parked by tapping a zone
- Add a text or photo reminder where you've left your car
- Mark your current parked location using iPhone OS location services including GPS (iPhone 3G) and triangulation (1st generation iPhone).

You can quickly add the streets/blocks at which you park by selecting rules matching the restrictions posted. Once added, the home screen will show you which streets are okay to park on, which aren't, and which soon won't be.

You can leave a reminder to yourself where your car is parked simply by taping a zone from your list or entering a text or photo note in the 'Location Hint' area at the bottom of the home screen.

If you sync with Google Calendar you can enable SMS notifications for your street sweeping warnings and meter timers - even when the app is closed!
